Description
It is said that if one commits a sin anywhere, a visit to Varanasi cleans off the curse. Couples who are childless are said to be blessed with a child on worshipping this Goddess. So this Goddess is called as Karuvalartha Nayagia. Nalladai Agneeshwarar Shiva Temple is close to Nagapattinam, and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple has quite a legend behind it, and it is believed that those born under the Bharani star should pray here often if they want to excel in whatever they do. Enkan Adi Narayana Perumal Vishnu Temple is a Vaishnava temple with presiding deity Perumal appears on Garuda in the sanctum itself. We see Perumal in temples in sitting, standing or reclining form only.
History
According to the legends, Sage Bruhu was performing penance here surrounded by Vanni trees. A chola king who had been hunting made a lot of noise to hunt a lion. 
Importance/Significance
It is said that the Goddess Akhilandeshwari blesses the foetus with growth and helps the child to mature within the womb of the mother.
