Description
Sri Mahalakshmi Sannadhi is enshrined in Rajarajeshwaraswamy Temple, located in the town of Vemulavada, Telangana, India. The presiding deity of the temple is Sri Raja Rajeswara Swamy who is locally popular as Rajanna, and is adorned by the idol of Sri Raja Rajeswari Devi on the right and the idol of Sri Laxmi Sahitha Siddi Vinayaka on the left.
Importance/Significance
Pilgrims have a divine bath in a holy tank called 'Dharma Gundam', before proceeding for darshan. These holy waters are believed to have medicinal properties. Interestingly there is a Dargah inside the temple complex where all devotees offer prayers, irrespective of caste and creed.
