Description
This temple is located in Thirukandiyur, a village in the outskirts of Thiruvayaru
in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu.
It is one of the 108 Divyadesam dedicated to Vishnu.
History
The temple is believed to be built in late 8th century AD by
Medivial Cholas. Also further contributions were provided by
Vijaynagar Kings and Madurai Nayaks. It is beleieved that
hindu Gods Brahma and Shiva appeared here.
Importance/Significance
The temple is one of the few historical temples in India where
the images of Hindu trinity, Vishnu, Shiva and Brahma are
housed in the same premises. It is believed that devotees get
relieved off their Brahmahatti Dosha after visiting the temple
