Description
The temple is situated along the banks of River Bhavani. The presiding deity is believed to extremely benevolent. The Goddess listens to her devotees and bestows their wishes. Those facing difficulties due to black magic may pray here, the Goddess is said to relieve one of the such issues.
Importance/Significance
This temple is believed to have existed during the period of the Pandavas too. According to the legends, the Pandavas took the blessing of the deity in the war against seven Aravalli Sisters who were harassing people through witch craft.
Festivals/Events/Gatherings
Adikundam is celebrated here in a grand manner. This festival is celebrated every year. It begins on the 1st Tuesday of Aadi month with the festival of offering flowers.
