Description
Sri Navamohana Krishna Perumal Temple is located on the banks of river Yamuna, Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh and also revered as one of the 108 Divyadesam temples, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This temple is also called by the names Gokulam, Thiruvaipaadi temple, Gokul temple, Ayarpadi temple and Braja Bhoomi.
Importance/Significance
The presiding deity of this temple is Lord Navamohana Krishnan, found in a standing posture facing towards the east. And the Goddess of the temple is Rukmani and Sathyabama Thayaar. It is believed that in his childhood days Lord Krishna spent his time with his adopted parents, Nandagopan and Yasodha in this sacred place of Thiruvaipaadi.
