Shri Rajarajeshwari temple is located at the place called Polali in Kariyangala City of Bantwal Taluka in south of the state of Karnataka. Shri Kshetra Polali is located right at the centre of the city which is surrounded by some excellent hillocks and comprehensive croplands. The lake named Phalguni flows from the southern part of this famous temple. The lake changes its direction from the backside of the temple towards the western direction. Polali Devi is worshipped with much pomp and dedication over the ages.
History
The Polali Rajarajeshwari Devi Temple-Polali Bantwal Coastal Karnataka has been known as in many traditional details, such as the Markandeya Purina, inscriptions of Ashoka and trip details of traditional visitors.
