Though the obvious image about who designed the temple is not known, it is generally considered that the temple was initially designed by Pallavas in the 7th millennium CE due to its referrals in the hymns of the Nayanmars; however, the framework of the temple seems to be just 300-400 decades of age. The students have determined that the unique temple was designed at the beach in 7th millennium by Pallavas and was damaged by Colonial. The temple current nowadays about 1 km far from the coast was designed by Vijay Nagar leaders during Sixteenth millennium.
