History
You can see Siddhi Vinayagar sitting on Avudayar, which is a stage for Lord Vinayagar. He represents Maa Sakhthi. You will find Shiva Lingas installed in the Avudayar. The idol of Lord Vinayagar will be facing towards north east which is the direction of his father Lord Shiva. His left foot would be raised up which indicates that all his devotees would be under his protection if you surrender yourself to Lord Vinayagar. In his right hand you can see a broken trunk and sweet pudding in his left hand. If you are offering prayers at this temple then you are indirectly worshiping Lord Shiva and Parvathi as well

There are many facts associated with this temple of Lord Vinayagar. If you are having any problems related to debt then you should worship Lord Vinayagar at this temple. On a Suklapaksha Chaturthi day, start lighting 12 Diyas with Coconut Oil. Suklapaksha Chaturthi day is the 4th day after full moon day. You will have to do the same for next 12 Suklapaksha Chaturthi days, but you need to keep reducing the number of diyas by one every time. And continue this till it becomes zero and that means that your debt burdens are also going become less along with those diyas. It is all in your trust on Lord Vinayagar.

Vinayaka Chaturthi is the main festival at this temple every year. Apart from Vinayaka Chaturthi, they also celebrate Navaratri, Pongal, Deepavali, Thai Amavasya, and many special Poojas in the month of January and February which is the Thai month.
