This temple is also referred to as the Mukesaran Mandir. The temple is situated in Pathankot on the road leading to the Shahpur Kandi Dam. It is only in this temple that you will find that the deities of Lord Bramha, Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, Lord Vishnu, and Goddess Parvati are present. It is also amongst the most sacred places around Pathankot.
History
You will come across many caves belonging to the times of the Mahabharata. We hear that the Pandavas made these caves as their home stayed for a night during their exile. The locals tell us that these caves near the Mandir dates back to the period of the Mahabharata. You will be able to find these caves while you go to Shahpur Kandi and they are nestled on the banks of the River Ravi at Doongh a village in Shaupur Kandi.

Facts/Mythology
The temple as well as the caves has been built atop a rocky hill. This temple stands tall at the hill top and it also serves as a landmark around the city.Situated atop a hill, the temple consists of a white marble Shivling, with a copper Yoni. The Shivling is encircled by the idols of Lord Vishnu, Lord Brahma, Lord Hanuman, Goddess Paravati and Lord Ganesha.
Festivals/Events/Gatherings
It is also referred to as the Mukesran Mandir. A mela by the name of Mukesran takes place annually in the month of April during the Baisakhi period. It is at this time that many pilgrims from all over the Punjab as well as from the nearby state of Jammu and Kashmir as well as from Himachal come here for puja every year mainly on that mela and on Shiv Ratri. During the months of Shivratri every year big festival is also held which is a festival for three days and also that of the Navratri festival.
